On 27 February,2014, CACDA and the Saferworld co-hosted an international seminar on the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) in Beijing. International experts from relevant research institutes and NGOs, as well as officials of local embassies attended the meeting. 

CACDA Vice President and Secretary-General Chen Kai and Saferworld China Project Director Bernardo Mariani co-chaired the meeting. Experts had a discussion on the issues of the ratification,enter-into-force and implementation of ATT, including the latest development of ratification among different countries and regions and the difficulties of the treaty implementation in the future.
