On August 26 2020, CACDA co-organized with Center for Energy and Security Studies (CENESS, Russia) and Pacific Forum (U.S.) the 3rd trilateral dialogue on Regional Stability and Nuclear Risk Reduction in Northeast Asia via video link. Twenty scholars and experts joined the meeting and held in-depth discussion on the current situation of Korea Peninsular. CACDA Secretary-General Li Chijiang attended and delivered the opening remark. Participants included Chinese experts from China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations, Chinese Institute of Nuclear Information and Economics, Peking University, etc.
Affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, the 3rd Trilateral Dialogue on Regional Stability and Nuclear Risk Reduction in Northeast Asia scheduled in Beijing for this year will be held in the form of a series of vitual meetings. The dialogue will focus on the current situation of Korea peninsular and the commemoration of the 15th anniversary of the Joint Statement reached by the Six-Party Talk on September 19, 2005.
