CACDA held the China-U.S. Track II dialogue on outer space security

On December 9, 2021, the China arms control and Disarmament Association and Carnegie Endowment for International Peace jointly held the China-U.S. track 2 online dialogue on outer space security. Secretary General Li Chijiang and George Perkvich, vice president of Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, addressed the meeting. More than 20 experts and scholars from CACDA, Beijing Institute of Technology,Shanghai Institute of International Studies, Renmin University, National Astronomical Observatory of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing Institute of Space Information, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Secure World Foundation, University of Texas Austin and other institutions attended the meeting. Participating experts and scholars had in-depth discussions on issues such as global governance of outer space security and prevention of space debris.
