On November 8, 2022, Secretary-General Li Chijiang of the China Arms Control and Disarmament Association was invited to attend an academic workshop entitled "International Law in China's Diplomacy" held by the Center for United Nations Studies at Renmin University of China. He gave a lecture entitled "Nuclear Arms Control and Arms Control Diplomacy". Fang Changping, Vice Dean of School of International Relations of Renmin University of China, Associate Professor Xu Zhengyuan and other teachers and students attended the workshop. Secretary-general Li introduced the basic concepts of arms control and arms control diplomacy, major multilateral and bilateral mechanisms of nuclear arms control, characteristics of the current nuclear arms control situation and hot issues, as well as China's nuclear policy and arms control diplomacy practice. He also had in-depth interaction with the teachers and students attending the workshop.
