From November 21 to 22, 2023, the China Arms Control and Disarmament Association and the Geneva Center for Humanitarian Dialogue co-hosted the Second Plenary Session of the China-EU Dialogue on Maintaining Global Strategic Stability in the Netherlands. Li Chijiang, Secretary General of CACDA, Lyu Jinghua, Regional Director for Northeast Asia of HD, and Denison, Deputy Director General of the Department of Security Policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. The meeting held in-depth discussions on various issues including global strategic stability situation and the challenges and opportunities of the multilateral arms control and non-proliferation mechanisms.

More than 20 experts and scholars from Peking University, PLA National Defense University, China Institute of Nuclear Industry Strategy, Tongji University, Shanghai Institute for International Studies, Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation, Italian Institute for International Disarmament and Dispute Studies, French Foundation for Strategic Research, the Hague Center for Strategic Studies, World Institute for Nuclear Security, Royal United Services Institute and other institutes attended the meeting.
