On July 18, 2013, CACDA and US Center for Strategic and international Studies (CSIS) co-hosted a seminar on “Responsibility of Nuclear Suppliers” in Beijing . Scholars from CACDA, China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations , China Institute of Atomic Energy, China National Nuclear Corporation, Peking University , Tsinghua University and Institute of Nuclear and New Energy Technology of Tsinghua University. US scholars are mainly from CSIS, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

Participants discussed the world-wide nuclear energy development situation after the Fukishima accident, new nuclear reactor technologies, nuclear export control capacity building and roles and responsibilities of new nuclear suppliers.
