On 24 October,2014, CACDA Vice President General Qian Lihua met with the delegation of UN 1540 Committee, led by Chair Ambassador Oh Joon,Republic of Korea. The delegation introduced the latest work of the 1540 Committee and had an in-depth discussion with the Chinese experts and enterprise representatives on the role of Chinese NGOs on the non-proliferation, the challenges of the non-proliferation and counter nuclear terrorism.  Experts from Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation, Chinese Controlled Chemicals Association, Poly Group and Sinopec attended the meeting.
