From April 10 to 11, 2025, the N5 Expert Level Track Dialogue, hosted by the China Arms Control and Disarmament Association (CACDA), took place in Beijing. CACDA President Cheng Jingye chaired the dialogue, where experts from China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States engaged in in-depth and practical discussions on topics including nuclear doctrine, nuclear risk reduction, and the 2026 Review Conference of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT). Participants widely acknowledged that the Track II dialogue contributes to enhancing mutual understanding and trust.
Concurrently, the N5 Young Professional Network dialogue was held in Beijing. Young experts from the five countries also visited the “Hualong One” Technological Innovation Exhibition and participated in exchanges with scholars from Chinese think tanks.
