On October 23, 2024, Amb. Cheng Jingye, President of CACDA, met with Amb. Ali Sarwar Naqvi, Executive Director of the Islamabad Centre for International Strategic Studies and his delegation, during their visit to Beijing. The two sides exchanged views on issues of arms control, disarmament, and non-proliferation. Officials from the Pakistani Embassy in China attended the meeting.
