From October 29 to 30, 2024, CACDA and the Geneva Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue (HD) co-hosted the third plenary session of the “China-EU Dialogue on Maintaining Global Strategic Stability” in Beijing. Mr. Dai Huaicheng, Secretary-General of CACDA and Ms. Katia Papagianni, Director of Policy & Mediation Support of HD, delivered opening remarks. Discussions covered the 2024 global strategic stability landscape, nuclear risk reduction, the 2026 NPT Review Conference.

Over 20 Chinese and European experts from Peking University, Tsinghua University, Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), Vienna Centre for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation and etc. attended the meeting.
