From March 27 to March 29, 2023, President of China Arms Control and Disarmament Association Zhang Yan and Director Wu Jinhuai were invited to Switzerland to attend the 9th Zermatt Roundtable on Security Issues in Northeast Asia. They introduced views of Chinese think-tank on the Korean Peninsula Nuclear Issue, international security situation and other hot-spot regional issues, called each side for increasing mutual trust through dialogue, promoting security through cooperation, and jointly safeguarding peace and stability in Northeast Asia.

Zermatt Roundtable on Security Issues in Northeast Asia is the track 1.5 closed-door dialogue jointly held by the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland and the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP). High-level officials and scholars from Northeast Asian countries, Switzerland and European Union attended the meeting.
