On December 11, 2023, Ambassador Cheng Jingye, Senior Advisor of the China Arms Control and Disarmament Association, was invited to attend the online seminar course for CTBTO-CENESS Research Fellowship Program, jointly organized by the Center for Energy and Security Studies and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization, and delivered a speech on the topic "Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty and the P5". Ambassador Cheng elaborated the significance of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty, China's contribution to the negotiation and maintenance of the treaty, and the positive contribution of the P5 to the maintenance of the treaty, and had in-depth interactions with the participants. Twenty-eight young scholars from 24 countries participated in the course.
