On December 11, 2023, the China Arms Control and Disarmament Association and the visiting delegation of the U.S. Strategic Risk Council held a dialogue on "Reducing nuclear Risk". Li Chijiang, Secretary General of CACDA, and Christine Parthemore, Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. Strategic Risk Council attended and addressed the meeting. The meeting discussed issues such as maintaining global strategic stability and reducing nuclear risks. More than 20 experts and scholars from the Chinese People’s Association for Peace and Disarmament, the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations, the Strategic Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Physics, the China Institute of Nuclear Industry Strategy, Peking University and other institutes attended the meeting.
