On September 23, 2025, China Arms Control and Disarmament Association (CACDA) and Centre for International Strategic Studies (CISS), Islamabad jointly held the “China-Pakistan Track II Dialogue on Maintaining Global Strategic Stability” in Beijing.

Ambassador Cheng Jingye, President of CACDA, and Ambassador Ali Sarwar Naqvi, Executive Director of CISS, attended and delivered remarks at the event. Mr. Dai Huaicheng, Secretary General of CACDA and nearly 20 scholars and Representatives from the Embassy of Pakistan in China were present. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on issues of common concern including global strategic stability.
