China-U.S. Track-II Dialogue on Nuclear Security Held in Beijing

From July 28 to 29, 2026, China Arms Control and Disarmament Association (CACDA), State Nuclear Security Technology Center (SNSTC), and Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI) jointly held the China-U.S. Track-II Dialogue on Nuclear Security in Beijing. Mr. Dai Huaicheng, Secretary-General of the CACDA, Mr. Zhao Xuejun, Deputy Director General of the SNSTC, and Mr. Scott Roecker, Vice President of the NTI, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. The dialogue conducted in-depth discussions on topics including the current international nuclear security situation.

More than 20 experts and scholars from State Nuclear Security Technology Center, China Institute of Atomic Energy, Strategic Research Center of the China Academy of Engineering Physics, China Institute of Contemporary International Relations, China Institute of Nuclear Industry Strategy, Nuclear Threat Initiative and James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies attended the meeting.
