On October 31, 2023, Executive Secretary of the Provisional Technical Secretariat (PTS) of the Preparatory Commission of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) Organization Robert Floyd led a delegation to visit the China Arms Control and Disarmament Association and held discussions with experts of CACDA. President Zhang Yan and Vice President Tian Dongfeng attended and delivered speeches. Secretary General Li Chijiang presided over the meeting. CTBTO Provisional Technical Secretariat officials, scholars from China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations, Center for Strategic Studies of China Academy of Engineering Physics, Tsinghua University and other institutes participated in the meeting. Both sides had in-depth exchanges on global strategic stability and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty.
